Lady Antebellum Captures Song of the Year at the Grammy's
Country music trio Lady Antebellum (Charles Kelley - lead and background vocals; Dave Haywood - background vocals, guitar, piano, mandolin; and Hillary Scott - lead and background vocals) brought home four of five Grammy nominations for their song "Need You Now" . The group won Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals and Best Country Song! Released in 2009, "Need You Now" has been raking accolades last year from various awards bodies. This year's achievement is an icing on the cake for the song's captivating lyrics and melody. Among other nominees that included Eminem's "Recovery", "Need You Now" lost to Arcade Fire's "The Suburbs" for the Best Album of the Year.
