Bronze Drums

One of the most astounding archeological finds in Guangxi are the bronze drum kilns that date back to thousands of years ago. The kilns suggest that the bronze drums have been mass produced in ancient times, some of which were so large they were cast in several parts before being welded together. The photo shows Yao men playing the drums where one beats the drum and another controls the sound with a wooden bucket.
